Education has been the through-line of my professional life for more than 30 years. I began my career teaching high school English in Miami, where I later served as a curriculum leader, department head and writing coach. Since moving to Abu Dhabi in 2012, I have taught AP and IB English, led curriculum and assessment work, and transitioned into international university counseling. Today, my work brings those experiences together. I advise students and families navigating university systems around the world, help young people articulate their goals and tell their stories, design and deliver workshops, and develop programs that connect students, educators, universities and alumni. What has remained constant throughout my career is my belief in the power of education—and in the importance of helping people recognize possibilities they may not yet see for themselves.
